Drablak is a thoom, is male, and is an Explorer Mystic!

With PTF we went to Gungla Island [GI] recently. I want to find a way to enter the Sul'ran Oasis and visit the temple in there. The Oasis is in the Gungla Desert which is in the northwest part of the island. I had an idea that I thought had merit about how to gain access to it but we tried it a couple of zodiacs ago and it didn't work, so we decided to go in search of clues.

I had never been to the Gan'Vara part of the island and I was interested in visiting so there we went. Azriel has mapped the island extensively and so he was chosen to be our guide, except for the castle for which J'jh is the designated tour guide. It's a very beautiful place and I'd like to go back and spend more time there. The Headwater Grove is especially nice.

On a side note, I want one of those nice offices in the castle. It needs a little dusting but it's otherwise very well decorated.

We didn't find anything yet but I'll look at my notes and see if I can figure out something else to try.

I've continued my cloud research also, and once I tried to jump from the cloud with the help of Shakyamuni and Connie. Cold and Snowy was particularly busy and we had to retreat a couple of times before we could jump.

Then this morning I was coming out of the librarie just to put up a Koppi ad and BAM! all of a sudden I'm the focus of a 113 rats, 28 GV, one (?) vermine and one LDV. A good thing Geo was around to save me.

I have a new look. I decided to walk around in formal attire until further notice. Why? A couple of reasons.

The major reason is that I won't spend 1600c to mend my shirt. I'm not rich and I'd rather spend my coins on a higher education (libraries) than on clothes. My former shirt was a gift from Jeanne and was in the color of the Sundragon clan. It's very nice and I was proud to wear it, but it's just too expensive for me. So what are my options? I tried the tan shirt and, well, it doesn't work with my complexion. Really.

Now I thought about it and healers get cool shirts and pants, and fighters get belts. What do we get? Ceremonial robes. They're very cool but usually only used in formal occasions. Not anymore. And it comes with a hat! I always wanted a hat. Did I mention that?

So I'm going to wear that until further notice. Plus we have apprentices that wash clothes every day, what more can you ask? I always liked dark blue.

There is another reason to change clothes but I'd rather not talk about it here, since I don't want to give the wrong impression about my reasons for doing it. The title may give a hint of what I'm talking about.

In other news, I've been continuing my study of the cloud and its various controls. Being able to tell the position of the cloud has proved very useful and I still hope to decipher some of the books on the shelves in the cloud control room.

I'm also working on reviving an old project of mine which I hope will become a success this time around. More on that when the time is right.

We had great fun the other day with Ansset and Mary Jane when we came to town center in row boats! Too bad there weren't any pirate or navy people around ;-)

Ansset joked about charging people to build them land boats, and of course he wasn't serious, but a few minutes later Malkor showed up. Coincidence? I think not!
